Cooperative Living of Newton, Inc., Lasell Village & Newton Senior Center invited The Knitting Connection to do an informal display workshop at Dewitt Hall Lasell College at their Senior Expo on May 28, 2003.

This Senior Expo is designed to present information to seniors and community members of all ages about the growing range of information and options that promote one's ability to grow old gracefully and successfully. The topics to be covered will include information about housing options, educational programs, supportive services and equipment, cultural and leisure activities, and volunteer opportunities. We hope this information will give those who attend the opportunity to make meaningful decisions that are important in promoting well being later on in life. Lilian Sharpe and Sue A. Manning were both at the Expo, greeting attendees and handing out information on The Knitting Connection.
